Savoury Granola
Ever tried a SAVOURY granola? This amazing savoury granola recipe feature a gorgeous blend of hazelnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and other tasty additions. Roasted to perfection, this savoury granola is amazing tossed over salads, sprinkled over soups, or enjoyed as a yummy topping for bruschetta or crackers with avo or cream cheese.
Once cooled, it stores beautifully. It also makes a stunning gift displayed in a glass container and tied with a pretty ribbon.
Ingredients:
¼ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup oats
½ cup coconut flakes
100g mixed nuts
⅛ cup linseeds
⅛ cup sesame seeds
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup peanut butter
1 tsp honey (for a salty sweet twist!)
1 small packet kale chips (optional)
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup oats
½ cup coconut flakes
100g mixed nuts
⅛ cup linseeds
⅛ cup sesame seeds
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup peanut butter
1 tsp honey (for a salty sweet twist!)
1 small packet kale chips (optional)
Method:
- Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees celsius.
- In a large bowl, mix together the spices, oil, soy sauce, peanut butter and honey.
- Then add in all the nuts, seeds and grains (except for kale chips) until well coated.
- Spread out onto a baking sheet and bake for 20min until golden brown.
- Once baked, wait until cool and then add kale chips and jar.
