Montagu Salmon Fishcakes

Ever tried a SAVOURY granola?  This amazing savoury granola recipe feature a gorgeous blend of hazelnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and other tasty additions. Roasted to perfection, this savoury granola is amazing tossed over salads, sprinkled over soups, or enjoyed as a yummy topping for bruschetta or crackers with avo or cream cheese.

Once cooled, it stores beautifully. It also makes a stunning gift displayed in a glass container and tied with a pretty ribbon.


¼ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup oats
½ cup coconut flakes
100g mixed nuts
⅛ cup linseeds
⅛ cup sesame seeds
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup peanut butter
1 tsp honey (for a salty sweet twist!)
1 small packet kale chips (optional)


  1. Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees celsius.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the spices, oil, soy sauce, peanut butter and honey.
  3. Then add in all the nuts, seeds and grains (except for kale chips) until well coated.
  4. Spread out onto a baking sheet and bake for 20min until golden brown.
  5. Once baked, wait until cool and then add kale chips and jar.
