Flapjacks for Father's Day

We've decided to make a little tweak to the original crumpets recipe from Ate Kitchen. This is a perfect and easy recipe for kids to make for dad as an early Father's Day surprise to start the day!
Ingredients:

Method:
Place butter, milk and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Beat the egg and sugar, adding the boiled mixture and flour, beating until smooth. Add the baking powder and mixture with a spoon.
Place the mixture in a squeeze bottle and create the shape of a necktie on a hot frying pan. Frying each side until golden.
Heat the honey until it’s bubbling and add the nuts, spoon over the crumpets. Serve with raspberries and dollops of mascarpone.
